Learning About Earthquakes

Please add here any online sites where you have found valuable information about earthquakes. Note that this is divided into sections for the Canterbury Earthquake, other NZ earthquakes, earthquakes in other parts of the world and other general information sites.

Here's a link to Geonuclear Science's website which has lots of information about the earthquake. GNS is the organisation that monitors all the earthquakes in NZ. They have made videos and have maps and all sorts of great material on this site.
If you feel an earthquake, GNS wants to know about it. Please fill in a FELT REPORT so they can gather more information about what is happening in our shaky isles
